Who we are

Holistic Garden Labs is a trading name of Eiger, a company registered in Hungary. These terms cover this website and our apps. Apps downloaded from the App Store are also covered by Apple’s standard licence agreement. Questions: hello@holisticgardenlabs.com.

Subscriptions and the free trial

• Holistic Gardener is a subscription, billed by Apple. Prices are on our pricing page and in the App Store.
• New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. It turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time in your Apple account settings; you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple.
• If we change prices, Apple will tell you in advance and, where required, ask you to agree.
• Without an active subscription, your garden becomes read-only: you can view it, but not change it.
• Plant checks come with an allowance. Extra checks are a one-off purchase. We may limit checks to stop misuse.

Plant advice

Plant identification and health checks are educated guesses based on your photos. They can be wrong, which is why we tell you how sure we are.

• Never eat a plant, or decide it’s safe to touch or to have near children or pets, based on the app alone. If in doubt, ask an expert.
• For big jobs, such as large trees, use a qualified professional.
• When using any garden product, follow the label.

Your content

Your garden, photos and notes are yours. We claim no rights over them. You allow us to process them only as needed to run the features you use, for example sending a photo for a plant check. Only upload photos you have the right to use.

Fair use

Please don’t misuse our apps or services: no attempts to break, overload or copy them, no automated access to the plant-check service and nothing illegal. We may suspend access for anyone who does.

Our apps and brand

The apps, the Holistic Garden Labs name and our icons belong to us. You can use the apps for your own personal gardening, but not copy, resell or rebrand them.

Keeping things running

We work hard to keep everything available, but we can’t promise it will never go down. If the plant-check service is unavailable, the rest of the app keeps working. Features may change as we improve the apps.

Liability

If something goes wrong because of us, we’re responsible for losses that were reasonably foreseeable. We’re not responsible for losses we couldn’t have foreseen, or for what happens to your garden when you act on a suggestion. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Law

These terms are governed by Hungarian law. If you’re a consumer living elsewhere in the EU or in the UK, you keep the protection of your own country’s laws and can bring a claim in your local courts.

Changes
